Next week I'll be at my dentist's office for my consultation. The last time that I visited his office he told me that I need to have dental implants for my teeth. I'm a little bit scared. Does it hurt?I'm quite nervous. huhh!

won't feel any pain during the procedure, though sometimes you will feel a little pressure that can be uncomfortable. And if you have a good dentist you won't even feel the pain from the shot for the anesthesia.I know you're apprehensive, but you're going to be much happier once you've got this done. You'll have to suffer a little bit, but it's worth it. Good luck!!

Thanks a lot I was able to gather strength on what you said. Thanks for biding good luck as well. My consultation was fine and I really appreciate the result. But I still have to go back to my dentist's office for regular consultations. I was able to use my insurance for discount dental purposes and to have less bills for having my implant. It was great. Thanks again and God Bless.

If you go to someone who is well qualified then the chances are that you won't have any problems. Don't just go for the cheapest quote. The metal part of the implant should not show as the prosthetic tooth should be screwed into it and cover it up completely so that it looks like a normal tooth. If you don't have enough bone in your gums then a bone graft can be done. Not enough bone can be a reason why an implant will fail as they are supposed to integrate with the bone and if there is not enough it will not be 'strong' enough. Again if you go to someone good, the chances that it will fail are reduced.

hello friends.....
A dental implant is nothing more than a metal screw that is placed into the jaw bone. It acts as an anchor for a false tooth or a set of false teeth. The slide to the left shows the replacement of a lateral incisor with a dental implant retained restoration. Roll your cursor over the image to see the implant.Anyone in reasonable health who wants to replace missing teeth. You must have enough bone in the area of the missing teeth to provide for the anchorage of the implants. Some people are missing all their teeth and most of those are excellent candidates for dental implants, but today, we use implants to replace small bridges, removable partial dentures and even missing single teeth. For doing

Nowadays, cosmetics and surgeries are most likely painless treatments. We shouldn't worry about pain. The technology for pain-free procedures is our friend.

Usually not! Since the jawbones have few nerve endings, the placement of dental implants causes only minor surgical discomfort - perhaps equivalent to having a tooth pulled.
