What's the best type of tooth whitening you can get?  And for how much? I'm expecting to pay $300 for teeth whitening, but I'm not sure if that's the norm or if that's too high, etc...

Also, I'm also considering veneers. For that, I've heard prices all across the board from $6k to $20k.  What's a good figure and what's the difference between a $6k set of veneers and $20k?

I think that whitening is only safe when it comes to clinics. The kits you can buy do not help and can do harm to your teeth. I prefer dentapoland clinic where I had it done really cheap and I will go back there for fillings. You know, it is becoming more profitable to fly to eastern europe as what they guarantee is a professional care.I pay around 135 pounds and then 220 for whitening and two fillings.

now about veneers which make your teeth look natural and healthy, and because they are very thin and are held in place by a special strong bond (rather like super-glue) very little preparation of the tooth is needed.

2 types of veneers are there!

1). Porcelain Veneers
2). Composite veneers

Porcelian Veneers are more expensive than their composite resin counterparts. Traditional porcelain veneers may cost from $900 to $2,500 per tooth. Porcelain veneers can last 10 to 15 years.

Composite veneers cost approximately $250 to $1500 per tooth and are expected to last five to seven years.

Some of the basic home teeth whitening tip or methods of teeth whitening, used by people around the world are as follows:

1. Application of a paste of lemon juice and salt in the yellowish tint of the teeth is a wonderful way of eradicating that dull color of the teeth.

2. Rubbing the inner white part of an orange peel in the discolored teeth gives a lovely white shine.

3. Regular use of paste of bi-carbonate of soda with water removes the surface stain from the teeth.

4. Dried and powdered Bay leaves combined with dried orange peel also acts as an excellent whitener.

All these home teeth whitening methods when done regularly can give an excellent result.

Hi this is Jeemy here, I am new on this forum. I want to share my information about tooth whitening products.
Whitening toothpastes only work up to a point (usually only remove surface stains, and only partially because they work by abrasion). If you really want to whiten your teeth, get some sort of tooth whitening product, or better yet, go see you dentist. One additional note on tooth whitening products. The main active ingredient in them is hydrogen peroxide, the maximum level of which is regulated in the EU. The problem is that in the case of cosmetics products (basically anything you can buy in a regular shop) the maximum level allowed is not enough to actually whiten teeth. So whatever you find on shop shelves either doesn’t really work, or if it does, it’s not entirely legal.

The standardized fee for teeth whitening and teeth bleaching procedures is $500 in most cases. Costs can diversify depending upon the country of the region you live in. Laser teeth whitening is typically over $1000. In-home tray bleaching can cost you in between $50 and $100 dollars for a complete teeth whitening system. But store-bought whitening strips is as cheaper as $25. Teeth whitening stores, stands and kiosks typically cost between $5o and $150 dollars per treatment.

Generally the cost of teeth whitening increases with the number of in-office treatments required by the patient.

FYI, Dental Insurance does not cover the cost of teeth whitening treatment.

I don’t know what the best whitening you can get, but I think that the best thing for you to do is to consult your dentist on what kind of whitening is best for you.
